It is set in 120 acres of land, offering accommodation for groups of up to 165 and a broad range of outdoor activities. During term time we run school residentials, offering outdoor learning experiences to school pupils from all over Scotland. At weekends and during school holidays we host SU groups, youth groups, church groups and SU Holidays. In the last year there has been over 10,000 guests.
The office plays a crucial role in the functioning of the centre. It is responsible for communication with groups from the moment they enquire about visiting through to the end of their stay. This role will require liaising with all the departments at Lendrick Muir to ensure staff have all the information they need to give our guests the best experience possible.
Do you have outstanding customer service skills and excellent communication skills? Working within the office is very varied and there is always the opportunity to grow and develop. Applicants for this post should have experience working or volunteering in an office environment with good administrative, organisational and IT skills.
For this post, it is important that you are committed to SU Scotland’s ethos, working principles and vision and are able to demonstrate this through your commitment and motivation. It is also an Occupational Requirement (Equality Act - part 1, schedule 9) that the post-holder is a committed Christian.
The successful applicant will be required to become a member of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Scheme and the appointment will be subject to a satisfactory PVG Scheme Disclosure.
