Out of a strong desire to see our local community of Inverclyde transformed with hope, Greenock Elim Church has established the i58 Project, a social action ministry that seeks to bring practical expressions of hope to those who are living in hopeless situations. At present The i58 Project comprises of Inverclyde Foodbank, Inverclyde Fuel Bank, Inverclyde Baby Bank, Inverclyde Uniform Bank, Inverclyde Toy Bank, CAP Debt Recovery Centre and CAP Money Course.

As the i58 Project continues to grow Greenock Elim Church is seeking a Community Pastor to bring leadership, management and direction to the project and to help to develop the ministry of the project further. The Community Pastor will work as part of a wider staff and ministry team in facilitating ministry with the church, community and the local schools in the area.

It is expected that the successful candidate will become part of the church and community and will be an individual who is passionate about and experienced in social action and ministry and who supports the vision and values of Greenock Elim Church. There is therefore a genuine occupational requirement for this post to be fulfilled by a committed Christian.
