As Content Officer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing OM UK’s content strategy. This will include collating stories, photos and videos from the OM world, and crafting a cohesive message to OM’s partners in the UK that inspires them to partner with us through praying, giving and going. This role would particularly suit an applicant with 1-2 years communications, journalism or content marketing experience.
Activities will include:
Editing and co-writing OM UK’s Global Magazine
Managing a content calendar that reflects OM UK’s wider activity
Oversee quality content for cross media delivery
Coordinate curation of content from around the OM world
Media and press relations
Regular reporting and analysis of activity
Excellent copywriting skills
Basic design and layout skills
Knowledge and understanding of editorial design
Collaborative approach to teamwork
Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
Knowledge of video editing software
A degree or qualification in Marketing, Communications, Media or Journalism
1-2 years of experience of a related discipline
Most people joining OM raise financial support towards the cost of their salaries/expenses. This is usually through gifts from home churches and other supporters. Training and support in this is provided.
